Sad to see Steve Webber defeated at the BMBC Local Elections 2012

Very sad that Steve lost at the last BMBC local election. His passion over the past 4 years has been clearly evident. His role in Penistone Town Council, and his year as Mayor of Penistone in this past year has been exemplary.

It seems with the low turnout, he just failed to get his second term. Steve was really proud of what he had achieved for the community of Penistone West. I hope to see him return in the future. It seems that the national politics got in the way of local politics.

Steve will continue in his role as parish councillor for Penistone Town Council.

Buckingham Care Home official opening planned for 4th July all going well!

I am proud to be involved in opening the new residential care home in Penistone which is currently planned for 4th July. What a terrific facility it will be for the people of penistone. Ladhar Group have built a first class facility and there will be NHS beds available and respite care among many other helpful services for the locality. Look out for the opening dates as they are confirmed!
